Status Updates
90th Street from RR Tracks South to Mt. Pleasant Street(Full Closure)
Construction of 90TH STREET PAVING PROJECT includes: pulverizing asphaltic pavement, excavation,
grading, base aggregate dense, manhole and inlet adjustments, curb and gutter spot replacements, storm
sewer pipe and related structures, curb ramp replacements, asphaltic pavement, pavement marking, and
traffic and erosion control. Approximate quantities include: 14,200 square yards of pulverize asphaltic
pavement, 3,300 tons of asphaltic pavement, 2,400 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 4,100 square feet
of concrete sidewalk, 150 linear feet of concrete storm sewer pipe and 12 storm structures, 13 manhole and
inlet adjustments, and 12,250 linear feet of pavement marking.

- Curb, concrete and sewer work September 1st(three weeks)
- Paving October 5th
- Completion October 10th

2023 Paving Program Roads
Citadel Terrace (90th St to Braun Rd)
Citadel Terrance will be reconstructed from 90th St to Braun Rd. This work will include pulverizing and replacing asphalt road surface, spot curb replacement, utility structure adjustments and side walk approach ramps for ADA compliance. Local traffic will be affected during construction, but crews will work to maintain the access for residents.

86th Street (Durand Ave to Westminster Dr)
86th Street will be reconstructed from Durand Ave to Westminster Dr. This work will include pulverizing and replacing asphalt road surface, spot curb replacement, utility structure adjustments and side walk approach ramps for ADA compliance. Local traffic will be affected during construction, but crews will work to maintain the access for residents.

- Traffic Control and Curb Work July 26th
- Paving Week of August 15th
- Completion August 26th
PROJECT COMPLETED
Kennsington Square Road (Westminster Dr to Broadway Dr)
Kennsington Square Rd will be completely reconstructed to alleviate sidewalk and road drainage issues. Reconstruction will incude stormwater drainage improvements, spot sidewalk and driveway apron replacements, full new rolled pan curb and gutter, some tree removals as required to achieve proper drainage and replacement of the road surface. Local traffic will be affected during construction, but crews will work to maintain the access for residents.
