90TH STREET & MT. PLEASANT AVENUE (CITY OF RACINE WATER MAIN PROJECT)
- Contractor began work late and it is now scheduled to be completed by late September
- Sanitary Sewer repairs and lining are now completed. Work will begin on Mount Pleasant Avenue during the first week of September
- Garbage pick-up and mail delivery will not be affected.

DURAND AVENUE (HWY 11)(WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PROJECT)
- Construction began on August 11, 2008 and is scheduled to be completed by October 4, 2008, and is on schedule, from 91st Street west to 99th Street.
- Northside lanes on Durand Avenue should be completed by Friday, August 29, 2008.
- Construction on the southside lanes of Durand Avenue will begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.
- Garbage - For residential homes on the southside of Durand Avenue, homeowners will need to take waste receptacle and recycling bins to the nearest side street for pick-up.
- Mail delivery will not be affected.

VILLAGE OF STURTEVANT COMPOST SITE
The Village of Sturtevant compost site is now open.
NOTE CHANGE IN TIME Mondays & Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM for village residents only. Will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2008 for Labor Day.
