Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast

  • The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Sturtevant Village Hall at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 31, 2012. The Easter Egg Hunt is for children ages 11 and under. Bring a bag to gather some eggs. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance.
  • A Pancake Breakfast will take place at the fire station on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 8 am to noon. The cost is $7 for ages 12 and up, $5 for ages 5-11, and ages 4 and under are free. All proceeds go to the 2012 Sturtevant Fireworks.


Village Hall Closures

  • Village Hall will be closed on Friday, April 6, 2012.


Electronic Drop-off

  • The village will host an Electronic Drop-off on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9 am to 2 pm in the parking lot of Fountain Banquet Hall located on Highway 11 next to Farm & Fleet.


Earth Day

  • Earth day is April 21, 2012. Residents and volunteers can meet at Kirkorian Nature Preserve to pick-up trash and spread mulch on walking paths. Call Rose at 886-3282 for more details.


Community Garden

Community Garden

Sturtevant Beautification volunteers along with assistance from Sturtevant DPW expanded our community garden site to 12 garden plots for 2011.  All garden plots have been assigned for 2011.  If you are interested in a garden plot for 2012, contact Linda Busha at 412-5578
