DEPOT REPAIR WORK BEGINS
After many delays, repair work on the Sturtevant Depot towers has begun. This work will enclose the towers and the entrances to the elevators to provide more protection from the elements. The initial work involves the construction of temporary sheltering. The work will continue until the permanent enclosures are in place. The Depot will remain open for Amtrak passengers throughout the project. The Village and the contractors apologize for any inconvenience that the project causes passengers. The Village will post more details as the work progresses. It is anticipated that this project will be completed by Mid-July, 2009.
