Emergency Management
From Sturtevant
The Village of Sturtevant Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is charged with preparing the village to respond to crisis situations. This is accomplished through planning, training, exercising and actual response to emergency and disaster situations by both the Sturtevant Police and Fire Departments. An integral component of the emergency management program is public outreach, educating the public on hazards to the community and proper safeguards to take.
In the event of an emergency situation, one or more emergency management personnel will respond to the incident site and assist in the command post. In large situations, a Racine County Emergency Operating Center (EOC) is opened to coordinate emergency response
Chief Arthur M. Scola is the Village Director of Public Safety and Capt. Sean M. Marschke is the Village Emergency Management Coordinator. The OEM office is located in the Public Safety Building, 2801 89th Street, Sturtevant, WI 53177. The telephone number is (262) 886.7229
